Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez served on a panel highlighting diversity issues at the State Bar of Texas annual convention in Houston, June

Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez has been named the Texas State Delegate to the American Bar Association National Convention for a three-year term beginning after this year's annual meeting in August of 2008, after an uncontested election.

Norton A. Colvin, Jr. remains on the Texas Pattern Jury Charge Oversight Committee.

Mitchell C. Chaney is on the Litigation Counsel of America.

Jaime A. Saenz has accepted the honor of a position on the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy Faculty for 2008.

Joseph A. (Tony) Rodriguez in continuing to serve among the Officers of the Federal Bar Association, South Texas Chapter, to the position of Brownsville Division Director.

Alison D. Kennamer is continuing to serve as a member of the Editorial Board for the Texas Bar Journal.

Alison D. Kennamer is serving as chairperson of the Cameron County Bar Association's newly constituted Local Rules Committtee.

Teri L. Danish is now Chair of the Women and the Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Teri L. Danish has been named a Super Lawyer in Labor and Employment Law for 2008 by the Texas Monthly publication of the same name.

Teri L. Danish is continuing to serve on the Board of the Texas Legal Protection Plan, a Texas State Bar organization that services a potential pre-paid legal services plan for individuals in the State.

Teri L. Danish continues to be a member of the Individual Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the State Bar of Texas.

Teri L. Danish is the co-chair of the joint Labor and Employment Law Section for the Cameron and Hidalgo County Bar associations.

RosaMaria Villagomez is now a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

RosaMaria Villagomez spoke at the Texas Association of Defense Counsel 2008 Spring Meeting in Chicago on "The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act: A Powerful Weapon vs. Unfair Competition and Disgruntled Employees," based on a paper authored by James M. Thomas.

RosaMaria Villagomez continues to serve as the chair of the Young Lawyers' Committee of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.

RosaMaria Villagomez continues to serve on the District 12 Grievance Committee of the State Bar of Texas for a 3-year term beginning July 1, 2007.

RosaMaria Villagomez and Sarah Nicolas have been named in the Texas Rising Starts 2008 publication.

Laura J. Urbis is now serving as President of the Cameron County Bar Association.

Laura J. Urbis is serving on the Steering Committee for the Community Justice Program for the Cameron County Bar, which offers a pro-bono divorce clinic for county residents in conjunction with Texas Rural Legal Aid.

Norton A. (Trey) Colvin, III has been inducted as the President of the Cameron County Young Lawyers Association for the 2008 - 2009 term.

Norton A. (Trey) Colvin, III is serving as an organizer of the Brownsville Community Justice Program clinics, in which the firm continues to participate.

Eduardo Roberto Rodriguez is the chairman of the University of Texas at Brownsville / Texas Southmost College Development Board.
